GOVERNOR OKOROCHA SUFFERS HEAD INJURY IN ROAD ACCIDENT

The convoy of the Governor of Imo State; Mr Rochas Okorocha was involved in a head-on collision in Orlu local government area of the state while on a scheduled inspection tour to some state projects in the area. The governor sustained minor cuts on the head but is presently in a good and stable condition and has been attended to by medical personnel.

FINALLY! KIM KARDASHIAN AND KRIS HUMPHRIES ARE OFFICIALLY DIVORCED

After battling for a year and a half (which is over five times as long as the marriage itself lasted, by the way), Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries became officially divorced today. You're wondering why it took this long, right? Well, here is the gist, Kim Kardashian wanted a divorce but Kris Humphries refused insisting on an annulment based on fraud. Kris claimed their marriage was a fraud and Kim had intentionally altered the reality show, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' to make him look bad.

It's been a dirty fight, with each camp going back and forth with tales of betrayal and deceit. Finally today, Kris Humphries caved in to Kim Kardashian as she got her divorce. According to sources, Kris backed down because their was no evidence of fraud perpetrated by Kim .

Kim is now divorced for the second time.

FANS TOUCH FEMALE SINGER'S PRIVATE PART WHILE PERFORMING ON STAGE

Don't know who she is but I don't think she 's a Nigerian artiste. She's pictured kneeling close to the edge of the stage in front of fans and some of them are seen deeping there hands into her private part, and she doesn't seem to mind. In fact, looks like she might even be enjoying it. #Imustbefamousbyforce things.

ARE MUSLIM GIRLS THE MOST VIRTUOUS IN NIGERIA?

I came across this 'Opinion', written by a Susan Uchenna, where Nigerian Muslim girls were referred to as the most “ Virtuous, Prudent and Morally sufficient” girls in the country. Read excepts from what she wrote below;

"It is evident in the way they dress with all sensitive parts of their bodies covered unlike most of their Christian mates who have embraced the famous craze for fashion and sexuality. Is it of wonder then that out of every 10, sixteen year old Muslim girls, one is sure to discover at least eight virgins. Given the same statistics, there won’t amount up to three Christian virgins of the same age!"

THIS IS NOT GENEVIEVE NNAJI'S DAUGHTER!

I'm sure by now you have all seen the pictures of this young lady all over the internet with blogs and websites referring to her as Geneivieve Nnaji's daughter, I can tell you for a fact that she is not! Her name is Nengi Warikoko and she was the MBGN Miss Tourism 2010 and a student of UNIPORT. She is 21 years, Genny is 31, had a baby at 15. Do the math!

The rumour was started again by National Enquirer Magazine. They referred to her as 'Chimebuka a.k.a Lily-Genevieve`s 18 year old daughter who lives abroad' and wrote that 'the paragon of beauty was recently at the beach where she surrendered her privacy for a paparazzi`s lenses to click away.' (Bikini pic above). That's not true, the picture was taken by all MBGN contestants in 2010, you can see the pics of two other contestant of the beauty pageant wearing the same bikini after the cut or click HERE to see all the contestants for that year, including Nengi Warikoko.

This story circulated sometime last year and Nengi came out to say she is NOT Genny's daughter.

I broke the tragic news yesterday of UNILAG Medical student, Eniola Abiola who drowned at the Elegushi beach. Read the full story of how the unfortunate incident happened;

A 200-level student of the Department of Dentistry, School of Medicine, University of Lagos, Unilag, Idi-Araba, Eniola Abiola has drowned.

The incident occurred at the Elegushi Beach, Ikate, in Eti-Osa Local Government Area, of Lagos, where the deceased was attending a friend’s birthday party.

Abiola was reported to have got to the party at 8:15 p.m. and later joined her friends a few meteres away from the shoreline to take photographs.

SPOTTED: BRANDINY AND MOSES ARMSTRONG AT THE MKPAT ENIN LG CHAIRMAN'S HOUSE

Two of the most influential celebs in Akwa Ibom, Rock 'n' Roll singer Brandiny and Nollywood actor and the President of Ibom Actor's Forum (AIS) Moses Armstrong, were recently spotted at the Mkpat Enin Local Government chairman's house in Uyo. Hmm, wondering what they're 'cooking' now.

'HALF OF A YELLOW SUN' IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE NOLLYWOOD MOVIE

The adaptation of Chimanmanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel, ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’, is currently the most expensive movie ever made in Nollywood. The movie which was shot at Tinapa Film Studio, Cross River State and in the United Kingdom, cost approximately N1.27 billion ($8m) to make. Huge, right?

The movie was directed by Biyi Bandele and the cast include Britons and Nigerians such as Chiwetel Ejiofor (Kinky Boots, 2012, Salt); Thandie Newton (Mission: Impossible II, The Pursuit of Happiness); Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls, For Coloured Girls); Joseph Mawle (Women in Love, Game of Thrones); John Boyega (Attack the Block); Onyeka Onwenu, Genevieve Nnaji and Zack Orji.

The movie is yet to be released.

ABUJA POLICE COMMISSIONER SAYS NOBODY TRIED TO KILL DINO MELAYE

The commissioner of police in Abuja, Mr Olufemi Ogunbayo, has concluded that the alleged assassination on Dino Melaye never took place. He said Melaye reported the incident, but the police could not find evidence of an assassination attempt at the alleged crime scene.

According to him, the ex-lawmaker said he was on his way home from the National Hospital, Abuja in his air conditioned car, all windows wound up, and was listening to cool music when he noticed a range rover sport golf car drive past his.
