UGANDA GOVT. SET TO BAN BEYONCE, MADONNA FROM TV

Hehehe, you heard right. Women in Uganda who go out wearing mini-skirts could face jail or a heavy fine under draconian new anti-pornography laws. Uganda's ethic and integrity minister, Simon Lokodo, proposed the Anti-pornography Bill where those found guilty of abetting pornography will be fined up to 10 million Ugandan shillings (£2,500) or jailed for up to 10 years, or both.

If it is passed, the legislation will also ban television dramas and films and sexy celebs such as Beyoncé and Madonna would be banned from Ugandan television, even internet use will be monitored.

Hmm, Ugandans don't joke with their conservative laws and cultures o, my brother lives in America and he's married to a Ugandan. His mother in-law never stays in the same room with him o because it is a taboo not to talk of them shaking hands, ha (smh) that one na wahala, lol. Many Ugandans are against the idea and some have taken to Twitter to express their outrage using the hashtag #SaveMiniSkirt. LMAO @ #SaveMiniSkirt!

I recently stumbled upon the EIE petition to the US, British, Canadian, German, South African and Emirati Embassies in Nigeria to deny visas to those convicted of looting public funds. First of all, I want to say that what we like to call“Bad Belle People” because they think there may be bad news and when you don’t give them that news they start to create it because I guess bad news sells more than good news. So I want to say categorically that there was no twitter fight. People go on-line and use Photoshop to create my profile and say that I said this and then they go and create Wizkid’s profile and say he said this.
