At the AY Show held last night in Lagos, while answering questions on the red carpet, Don Jazzy confessed that he missed D’Banj. He said, “D’Banj is

'MY OGA AT THE TOP' SHEM REPLACED
Mr. Obafaiye Shem has been removed from his office as the commandant of
the Lagos state branch of the Nigerian Security & Civil Defense
Corps. He was replaced by Mr. Adesuyi Clement from Oyo State Command. The
Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr. Olu Abolurin, who was in Lagos over weekend for the alleged killing of two of his officers by some policemen,
introduced the new Commandant to journalists.
However, he did not give reasons for Obafaye’s removal but sources hinted that Adesuyi took over from the former Commandant Obafaye on Tuesday March 29. The source believed that it may be connected with his recent interview on Channels Television live programme.

Telecommunication giant, Glo, has brought the world famous music reality TV show, The X-Factor, to Africa. It will be the first time the show will come to Africa and is going to be the biggest music competition in Africa. The ultimate winner of the spectacular show will cart
home a huge sum of $150,000 (N24 million). He or she will also win a
recording contract with the internationally acclaimed Sony Music for the
recording of an album and professional management of the winning
individual or group. Wow!
The X-Factor was unveiled on Wednesday night at the GET Arena, Lekki, Lagos and the month-long pre-auditions, which are the first stage, will kick off
in Abuja on April 13 and later hold in Port Harcourt and Lagos. It will
also run in Accra and Kumasi in Ghana.

POLICEMAN SHOT DEAD AT THE WEDDING OF HIS TWO DAUGHTERS

A policeman was killed by unknown gunmen at the wedding of his two
daughters in Damboa town in Damboa local government area of Borno
State, local sources said yesterday, saying the incident happened on
Friday.
Residents told our correspondent that the deceased policeman was shot
dead in front of his house while conducting the wedding Fatiha of his
daughters shortly after the Friday congregation prayer(Jumat). It was
gathered that the policeman ran from the town for months following
death threat sent to him by unknown persons only to return to the town
last week in order to marry out his daughters.
