This is certainly not the best of times for the Bournes’ family  which is currently  mourning following the alleged killing of Olayinde Bournes’, by her boyfriend, last Thursday, in Aguda Ogba area of Lagos.

The deceased, a 22-year-old par time student of the  Lagos State Polytechnic, was allegedly beaten to death by her boyfriend over an unknown reason.

ABUJA COURT SAYS PRESIDENT JONATHAN IS ELIGIBLE TO RUN IN 2015

An Abuja High Court today dismissed a suit filed by Chief Cyriachus Njoko, stopping President Goodluck Jonathan from contesting the 2015 presidential election.

Read the judgment of  thejudge, Justice Mudashiru Oniyangi , below;

“The first defendant (Jonathan) neither contested the office of the president before 2011 nor got nomination of his party to contest same election before 2011. Jonathan, to my knowledge, in 2007 contested the general election as a vice president and nothing more. In the case of Jonathan, his mere assumption of the office of the President was necessitated by what the National Assembly described as doctrine of necessity because of the demise of late President Umar Yar’Adua.

The face of a killer

The Magistrate Court in Port Harcourt has freed seven out of 18 persons allegedly involved in the killing of  Ugonna, Lloyd, Chidiaka and Tekena, four students of the University of Port Harcourt.

They were released based on the legal advice by the Director of Public Prosecution  because  they were arrested based on mere suspicion by the police and there was no legal proof to convict them. What other proof is needed than a video capturing some of the faces of their killers? Above is a picture of one of those who actively participated in the lynching that killed those innocent boys.The government should have his data somewhere in their database; driver's license, national I.D, international passport, telecommunication records, there just has to be his info somewhere that can be obtained and this goes for all those who actively participated.

Prosecution should watch the video, it's all over the internet, and arrest the those who actively participated in killing those boys, and stop being lazy! These boys must not die in vain. Justice must be done!

PSQUARE BUILDING ANOTHER MEGA HOUSE IN IKOYI

Peter and Paul Okoye together with their brother, Jude Okoye, are building another massive house in Park View Estate, Ikoyi. Construction of the house began in June last year  and will finish this year. According to a source close to the twins, the new house, which will also be a twin duplex like their Omole Estate home, will be called Squareville2. Squareville2 is costing them more than their Omole Estate mansion.

It is rumoured that they bought the land in Parkview Estate for N200million and will spend another N200m to erect their dream home. #bigboyztinz#

Unknown gunmen, suspected to be cultists, shot dead rising hip-hop artiste, Olaniyan Damilola a.k.a Damino Damoche, at the Lagos State University, LASU, gate in Lagos this afternoon. Damino had just finished writing a test and was on his way out of the school when he was shot in the head twice by the gunmen.  Damino was a Banking and Finance student. Nobody knows who the gunmen were or why they killed him. So sad. RIP. See the pic of his body being taken away from the scene after the cut...
