MOTHER OF TWO BURNT TO DEATH FOR ALLEGED WICTHCRAFT

20-year-old mother of two, Kepari Leniata, was burnt to death in a village, Paiala, in the highlands of Papua New Guinea on suspicion of being a witch. She was dragged from her hut, stripped naked, tortured with hot iron rods and then dragged to a local rubbish dump. Her attackers/accusers then tied up her hands and legs and doused her in petrol before setting her ablaze.

ENUGU STATE GOV., CHIME SULLIVAN, FINALLY BACK IN THE COUNTRY

He finally returned to Nigeria this morning after more than four months abroad courtesy of an undisclosed ailment even though his people have refused to give the people of Enugu or Nigeriaa satisfying reason for his disappearance or any update on his well being. Those close to them have confirmed their split. Sarah hinted it in her tweet a couple of weeks ago and it seemed as if I might have read too much into it then, but turns out I was right. Yeah, my gbeborun is too much. The two are known to break-up to make up, so maybe they will make up again and this time, even get married, who know. They make a great couple.

RIHANNA GOES TO COURT TO SUPPORT CHRIS BROWN AT THE HEARING OVER HIS ASSAULT ON HER

Chris Brown was in court  yesterday morning for his probation hearing from his 2009 assault of Rihanna, and guess who was with her man to support him; the victim herself, Rihanna. Rihanna accompanied Chris to the courthouse and even blew him a kiss and said some supportive words to him before he entered the courtroom.

Brown was in court to hear allegations from the Los Angeles prosecutors office that he may have lied about completing his community service.The judge scheduled another hearing on April 5. Rihanna and Brown then left the courtroom arm in arm.

FOUR POLITICAL PARTIES MERGE INTO ALL PROGRESSIVE CHANGE

10 state governors from the four different political parties and geo-political zones on Tuesday met in Lagos and  to talk about merging their various political parties.The following are the parties that merged: the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Looks like they are forming alliance to unsit PDP. 

 “We believe that the PDP has not done enough.  We have the idea, the knowledge and the progressive intention to move the country forward. So, if you say that we are going to move PDP out of power, yes we are ready to do that, God willing”,  said the Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdulazziz Abubak.

NNPC AIRCRAFT OVERSHOOTS RUNWAY

National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), aircraft 5NNOC operated by Aero contractors overshot the runway on landing today at the Osubi airport, in Warri, Delta state. The aircraft was on a routine operation to Warri when it overshot the runway of the airport luckily, there were no casualties or injuries.
