The 33-year-old singer posted a picture of her flashing the rock on Instagram as she and fiancé holiday in Hawaii, where they're celebrating their good news. She got engaged to music executive Ryan Press on Christmas day. Brandyalready  has a 10-year-old daughter with ex, Robert Smith.

GOV. WADA REJECTS TREATMENT ABROAD

Doctors at the Cedar Crest Hospital, Abuja, where the governor is receiving treatment said , yesterday, that Wada rejected the option of flying him abroad for further treatment after undergoing what was described as inter-locking nail surgery on his thigh broken in the crash. The surgery, which lasted two hours, was said to have been successful.The governor refused to be taken abroad for treatment because 'he has confidence in the capacity of the hospital  to manage him.' The governor has been stabilised since Friday night.

 

The governor was said to have suffered a broken thigh among other injuries when his vehicle ran into a ditch after a burst tyre on Friday afternoon at Emi Woro village, about 12 kilometers to Lokoja, the state capital killing his ADC instantly.

PASTOR ORITSEJAFOR DONATES CARS, TRICYCLES

President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has donated cars, tricycles and other items to the less priviledged. A statement by his Special Assistant (Media and Public Affairs), Mr. Kenny Ashaka, said the cleric gave out six brand new Hyundai cars, 15 tricycles, 100 grinding machines, 3.8KVA power generating plants and 200 bags of rice in Warri, Delta State, on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Oritsejafor made the donations to reduce poverty in the country.

The yearly empowerment programme was organised by the World of Life Bible Church through Eagle Flight Micro Finance Bank owned by the church.

NIGERIAN-AMERICAN RAPPER, WALE, NOMINATED FOR GRAMMY AWARDS

Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, stage name Wale, is a Nigerian-American rapper from Washington D.C. Wale was born to Nigerian parents on September 21, 1984. The rapper rode into the American top 10 music charts in 2006 with the song, "Dig Dug (Shake It)". His rap song Breakdown was featured on the video game, Madden NFL 2009. He was signed on to Rick Ross music group and soon after, to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for management.

He has been nominated for the Soul Train Music Awards, MTV U Woodie Award, BET Hip Hop Awards, which he won early in 2012 for the Best Collaboration title. And now his song, "Lotus Flower Bom", featuring Miguel, has been nominated for the Grammy Award in the Best Rap Song category.

OBAFEMI MARTINS CONFIRMS ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH MARIO BALOTELLI'S SISTER

There's been rumour going round that Obafemi Martins is dating Mario Balotelli's elder sister, Abigail Barwuash and that Mario is  not in support of the relationship. COVENANT UNIVERSITY EXPELS OVER 160 STUDENTS FOR NOT ATTENDING CHURCH SERVICE

About 160 students have been expelled from Covenant University, Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State by the authorities of the school. Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State, recently for what was described as “disregard of paramount core values.” 

I just called my very close friend's brother who is in Covenant to confirm and he said it's true. According to him, during their departure service, meant to sign off from the school after the end of the Semester and Matriculation of students on November 30, some students were sitting outside gisting and loitering around but unknown to them 'Papa' as they call Bishop Oyedepo, was on his way to the service. 

 Expelling students for not attending a service after paying such high sums in school fees? How many of you agree with me that that's too extreme a  punishment for not attending a service. I've heard that David Oyedepo is very quick to anger and sometimes curse the students.Continue to read after the cut...

KOGI STATE GOVERNOR INVOLVED IN FATAL AUTO CRASH WHICH KILLED HIS ADC INSTANTLY

Governor Idris Wada of kogi state was involved in a ghastly motor accident today along Ajaokuta-Lokoja road on his way to Lokoja, the state capital, after attending the annual Igala education summit held at the Kogi State University, Anyigba.

The governor’s convoy which was said to be on high speed in order to meet up with another assignment in Lokoja when one of the tyres of the  staff jeep suddenly burst. In the process the jeep driver lost control and ended up in a ditch leading to the death of the governor's ADC, Idris Mohammed, who died on the spot.

 The governor was rushed to the state specialist hospital where he was taken into the emergency care unit for treatment but at the time of reporting this, he has been moved to Abuja. A lot of terrible things happening to so many of our leaders this period. They need to go for serious prayers.
