WOMAN BATHED IN ACID BY FIANCE DIES

Twenty two-year-old Chika Egbo, who was bathed with acid by her fiancé, David Sulaimon, in Ikotun, Lagos, (if you missd it, read it HERE) has died. She died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, in the early hours of yesterday.

Nollywood actress,Nkiru Sylvanus and  former Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie were released by their kidnappers yesterday evening in Owerri. They were blindfolded by the kidnappers and dropped off at an unknown location.There was no news regarding any ransom being paid. Thank God for his mercies.

Nollywood Actors' Kidnap: Please bring our colleagues back home for Christmas 

We write to formally inform your esteemed office of the kidnap, last Sunday, December 16^th, of two of our colleagues, enterprising entertainers, Nkiru Sylvanus and Kenneth Okolie. The two actors were in Owerri, Imo State, shooting a movie when they were forcefully abducted by masked gunmen. Some hours later, the mindless abductors contacted family and friends of Ms Sylvanus especially demanding a N100m ransom. Up till now, we cannot fathom the rationale behind their kidnap. And their abductors have advanced none.

FIRE GUTS MURTALA MUHAMMED INT'L AIRPORT IN LAGOS

First of all let me apologize for being awol all day, went for a very close friend's traditional wedding on the island and my Lagosian readers understand what the traffic is usually like. I came into Lagos from my very lovely Akwa Ibom, Uyo yesterday just for her wedding so let me take my excuse ahead of Saturday now 'cos I'll probably blog very late on Saturday too, so this is me taking permission o.   

 I just heard that part of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos was gutted by fire today. The fire emanated from some cables, which apparently melted under heat, as some welders were working at the extension of ‘D’ Wing of the international airport. The prompt intervention of the fire service attached to the airport immediately brought the fire under control and thankfully, there was no casualty and  normal activities at the airport were not interrupted by the fire.

 Rihanna took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to post a message which appears to confirm reports the couple have called ended their relationship. Since last week when she tweeted that she was missing her nigga, her tweets have taken a bitter turn since the whole drama with Chris being with Karrueche in Paris and a French reality star claiming she had sex with him while in Paris.
