Just days after hitting his head on a sign post as he tried to run from paparazzi while on a lunch date with baby mama, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West's stunning $750,000 Lamborghini was crushed after getting trapped in Kim Kardashian's electric gates. 

The black vehicle was being delivered back to Kim's Los Angeles house by a driver after servicing it and as he drove it into the compund, the heavy wooden gates closed on the vehicle too early, damaging it.
The car repair shop was quick to send out a mechanic to see how much it would cost to fix the damage.

In the last month, Kanye has hardly been pictured with a smile on his face, he's always looking grumpy. Finding the thought of fatherhood unpleasant? Or is it the baby mama? Just saying

18-month-old Oluwafeyikemi Elegbede is lying critically ill at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, Lagos. She has been diagnosed with Wilms’ tumour (or nephroblastoma) — a rare type of kidney cancer that typically occurs in children, but rarely in adults. Because of the urgency of her condition, Oluwafeyikemi needs N1.5m for surgical operation and other treatments, which include radiotherapy and chemotherapy sessions. Her mother first noticed the lump in June, 2012 and they have been to several hospitals before she was diagnosed.

Her father, Mr peter Elegbede, has exhausted all he has on his daughter’s failing health and appealed to good-spirited Nigerians to come to his child’s aid. KING SUNNY ADE'S GUITARIST JAILED FOR 3 YEARS

The 62-year-old Abiodun Fatokun, who was a guitarist with King Sunny Ade for about 30 years, was on Tuesday, sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for drug trafficking by the Federal High Court, Lagos. The husband of three wives and father of 12, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful exportation of 1.575kg of cocaine during his arraignment on February 26, 2013.

Abiodun was apprehended by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on January 1, 2013, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, while attempting to board an Air France flight to Italy with two parcels of cocaine weighing 1.575kg hidden in the false bottom of his luggage.

Abiodun had blamed poverty for his predicament saying, “I can play any kind of guitar but my music career is a sad story. I played for King Sunny Ade for 30 years before I was unceremoniously retired in 2007 without severance benefit. I was unprepared for it and I saw the bitter side of life. This is my first time of trafficking drugs. I did it out of frustration because at my age, I could not provide for my family. I am ashamed of myself.”

He had no money but managed to marry 3 wives and father 12 children? SMH. Some people just like to bring poverty upon themselves. *hiss*.

PRESIDENT JONATHAN FINALLY DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY IN BORNO, YOBE AND ADAMAWA + READ FULL TEXT

 

 Our president has finally taken the step he should have taken a long time ago, a step that would have spared a lot of lives that have been lost. President Jonathan has declared an indefinite state of emergency in three Northern states, Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, citing insecurity. He made the announcement in a nationwide live broadcast yesterday evening. Read the full text of his speech below;

Dear compatriots,

1.    It has become necessary for me to address you on the recent spate of terrorist activities and protracted security challenges in some parts of the country, particularly in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi, Kano, Plateau and most recently Bayelsa, Taraba, Benue and Nasarawa states.  These unfortunate events have led to needless loss of lives and property of many innocent Nigerians including members of our security forces.

2.   The recent killing of security operatives by a cult group in Nasarawa state is particularly condemnable. I have directed that no effort or expense be spared in identifying and bringing to justice all those who had a hand in the killing of the operatives.
