BILL GATE CANCELS VISIT TO NIGERIA BECAUSE OF ALAMS PARDON?

Richest man and philanthropist, Bill Gates, has cancelled his planned official visit to Nigeria scheduled for March  27. Some people believe this is part of unfolding diplomatic row between the US and Nigeria because of the pardon granted by President Goodluck Jonathan to ex-convicts Diepreye Alamieyeseigha  and Shettima Bulama.

He was scheduled to   meet President Goodluck Jonathan, state governors and officials of the Federal Ministry of Health on the polio eradication campaign of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. HOW A WIDOW LOST HER FIVE CHILDREN IN ONE DAY

Mrs Ladi Nongu
Tears freely flowed few days ago at Tse Gbila Ayaku in Vandeikya local government area of Benue state when the five children of a widow, Mrs. Ladi Nongu, who met their untimely death in a ghastly motor accident along the ever busy Makurdi-Gboko road, were being buried in their final resting place.

The five victims of the mishap, Joseph, Mary, Mimidoo, Terkende and Benjamin, had traveled to Makurdi on that fateful day to visit a sick relative in a Makurdi hospital. Unfortunately, the trip to Makurdi was a journey of no return, which ended up at Mu, some six kilometers from the heart of Makurdi town where they all perished after the vehicle they were traveling in lost a tyre and summersaluted severally.

'MY OGA AT THE TOP' SHEM WAS NOT SUSPENDED

The Ogas at the Top of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) have broken their silence on the blunder by the Lagos State commandant of the corps. He wasn't suspended but commended. I found this on LEADERSHIP Sunday, read below;

One of the officials who spoke to LEADERSHIP Sunday on condition of anonymity, said despite the public perception of the much publicised error, there was no group to championing the removal or suspension of the commandant.
