The St James's Palace announced yesterday that ‘Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July. The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month,’ while Kim Kardashian's announcement of her due date came a day after the royal couple's. Kim announced on the Today Show during press for the new season of her reality show - Kourtney and Kim take Miami, that her Baby is due in July also. 

Kim's baby is in competition with the Princess, haha! I don't trust this Kim, she might have timed the pregnancy to coincide with Kate's own just for publicity, media hype and ultimately, money. Nothing is impossible for the Kardashian family. Lol.

My husband and I have been married for 5years and we have a son. While I was pregnant with our son, my husband refused to have sex with me saying he didn't want to harm the baby even though I assured him the baby would be fine. I managed to make him have sex with me when I was about four months pregnat and not yet showing and after that, we didn't have sex until about a year after that. Even now, we go 4-5 months without having sex. At first, I thought it was because I sleep in a separate bedroom with our son from him, but then, he never makes the move even when we're alone together except I do but it was once the other way around when we first got married and before I became pregnant.

GOV. AKPABIO DROPS COMMISSIONER FOR WOMEN AFFAIRS AND SOCIAL WELFARE, PERMANENT SECRETARY

Governor of Akwa Ibom State,  Godswill Akpabio today, 15th Jan., 2013 dropped the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs Helen Ukpabio, from his cabinet and retired the Permanent  Secretary of the state, Mrs Arit Okpo.
 

The statement released by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr Aniekan Umanah, stated that the commissioner’s sack was with immediate effect and that the governor has approved the retirement of the Permanent Secretary in the same ministry

Although no reason was given for their dismissals, my inside source says they failed to organise for the release of white pigeons from a box during the Armed Forces Rembrance day which held today. The release of the box of pigeons is a significant part of remembering and honoring members of the Armed Forces who have fallen (by that I mean dead).

SEVEN KILLED AND SEVERAL INJURED IN LAND DISPUTE IN AKWA IBOM

Seven persons have been killed and five declared missing over a land dispute between Enwang and Uko-Nteghe in Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Two of those killed, were from neighbouring communities of Ofi and Akprakpran respectively. They were going to Ibaka, another neighbouring community, when they were ambushed and killed by one of the warring communities.

Also, a youth identified simply as Ekuwem from Orukim Uda community was also said to have been abducted by youths suspected to be from Enwang and has not been seen since January 4 when the crisis erupted. About  37 persons sustained varying degrees of injuries with eight of them in critical condition.

FEDERAL GOVT. IS INSISTING FARMERS NEED CELLPHONES

Na wa o. The Federal Government is still insisting farmers actually need the communication equipment. The Federal Government planned  to provide 10 million farmers in the country with cell phones which I heard might cost the Federal Government N60bn.

The Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina, made the government’s position known at a news briefing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. According to him, the move is to “rebuild the broken walls of Nigeria’s agriculture and unlock wealth and opportunities for our farmers.” 

Really? Achieving all that with a cellphone? Even the farmers involved have told the government that cellphone is not their problem.

FIRST LADY DAME JONATHAN FLOWN TO GERMANY AGAIN

Wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Patience Jonathan,  has been flown to Germany again for what, this time, they are calling  a check-up. Saharareporters are saying she was flown out of the country on emergency, but PUNCH is saying a Presidency source told their correspondent that she only traveled on Monday for a check-up. 

The first lady had to cancel a thanksgiving service and reception she initially planned in honour of former Kaduna State Governor Patrick Yakowa and ex-National Security Adviser Andrew Azazi, and others, who died in a helicopter crash in Bayelsa State on December 15.

There's been no official word from the presidency regarding this yet.
