KOGI STATE GOVERNOR INVOLVED IN FATAL AUTO CRASH WHICH KILLED HIS ADC INSTANTLY

Governor Idris Wada of kogi state was involved in a ghastly motor accident today along Ajaokuta-Lokoja road on his way to Lokoja, the state capital, after attending the annual Igala education summit held at the Kogi State University, Anyigba.

The governor’s convoy which was said to be on high speed in order to meet up with another assignment in Lokoja when one of the tyres of the  staff jeep suddenly burst. In the process the jeep driver lost control and ended up in a ditch leading to the death of the governor's ADC, Idris Mohammed, who died on the spot.

 The governor was rushed to the state specialist hospital where he was taken into the emergency care unit for treatment but at the time of reporting this, he has been moved to Abuja. A lot of terrible things happening to so many of our leaders this period. They need to go for serious prayers.

US, CANADA AND TAIWAN WARN CITIZENS AGAINST NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL TO NIGERIA

A few days ago, the United States, Canadian and Taiwanese governments warned their nationals against non-essential travel to Nigeria, following increased terrorist attacks in the North-East. On Thursday, Security was beefed up around foreign missions in Abuja.

According to Focus Channel report on Thursday, Taiwan urged its nationals to avoid non-essential travel to Nigeria, especially during the coming week. The Taiwanese government cited fear of another terror attack on Abuja, Nigeria’s capital for its security alert.

Who can blame them, Boko Haram has seriously dented the image of this country. I only hope the situation and image of this country can be turned around for good and soon too otherwise we can kiss foreign investors and investments good bye. Continue to read after the cut...
