GOVERNOR OF AKWA IBOM STATE, AKPABIO, BUYS $45M JET

Report according to SaharaReporters;

The government of Akwa Ibom State has confirmed that Godswill Akpabio like his Rivers State counterpart, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, also owns a brand new jet. Akpabio took possession of the $45 million jet in June 2012.  Responding to SaharaReporters inquiries, Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Information, Aniekan Ummanah, confirmed that Mr. Akpabio bought the Gulfstream jet manufactured in 2011, but insisted that that it is Akwa Ibom State property.

NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, PETER ENEH'S LEG AMPUTATED

Veteran Nollywood actor, Peter Eneh sadly had one of his legs amputated at Parklane Hospital Enugu, this was done in other to save his life. The actor had an injury on the leg last year and apparently the injury wasn't treated on time which led to an infection that became hard to treat.
 

The injury was said to have degenerated to a sore and because Mr Eneh was diabetic, it refused to heal. He spent three months at the hospital before he was advised to amputate the leg before the infection spread to other parts of his body. The amputation took place on Wednesday October 24th after all efforts to save the leg was unsuccessful.

21-YEAR-OLD BOY GROWS THREE EXTRA PENIS AFTER GAY SEX

A 21-year-old UNIPORT simply referred to as Obinna, was reported to have developed multiple sex organs after an intensive 2 night "sexcapade" with his gay lover in a popular hotel in Ifako Gbagada, Lagos. The 200 level student allegedly met the man on social networking site, Hi5 and was paid N20,000 for transportation to Lagos, and after the rendezvous was paid the agreed sum of N150,000 only for him to discover that his penis was developing branches. He raised alarm which attracted people to the scene but his partner was no where to be found.

Nigeria’s film industry, (Nollywood) has reportedly generated about N126.4bn ($800m) in the last three years, making it the third highest revenue earner in the world behind American film industry, Hollywood which is first in world, and India’s film industry Bollywood is second. According to the managing director of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) Robert Orya, Nigeria is Africa’s biggest movie producer. 

Whoa, all of y'all that are bad-mouthing our Nollywood, shame on you (dodging my head). Okay, okay, I know they have lots of flaws, but they are also making us proud in the global entertainment industry. When you scold a child with your right hand, you draw him/her closer with the left, right?

DINO MELAYE'S OFFICE BURGLED IN ABUJA

The Abuja office of the Anti-Corruption Network where the former House of Representative member, (and Bisi Ibidapo Obe's baby daddy) Dino Melaye is the executive secretary of the anti-graft organisation, was on Wednesday night burgled by yet to be ascertained persons. All the offices were ransacked and documents were thrown around.

Mr. Melaye, in an interview, alleged that the invasion was masterminded by the agents of those  the ACN had accused of contract scam who came looking for documents used to establish cases of financial infractions at the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and the others that they have threatened to expose.

FORMER COUNCILLOR STABS TEENAGER FOR REFUSING ADVANCES

A former councillor of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Onimole Babatunde, is being detained for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old girl, Mariam Abubakar, in the neck after she refused his advances at a night club. On October 26, Abubakar went to Pearl Habour Night Club in Rochester Garden Hotel, Festac to “catch weekend fun” when Babatunde, who was obviously drunk, started to make advances to Abubakar.

According to her friend “She was not interested in him so she did not answer when he called her. He was dancing and Mariam (Abubakar) was sitting at a table. He was obviously drunk and he came to pull her.“He was manhandling her and she insisted he should leave her alone. This did not go down well with Babatunde and he was really angry. He went to a corner, took a bottle, broke it and stabbed Mariam in the neck.” He immediately fled the scene.

She was bleeding to death and the hospital was asking for police report? Unbelievable! Nigerians (ESPECIALLY doctors/nurses) need to attach more value to human life. As for the Councillor, he is a coward, as are men who indulge in violence against women.  Pls continue to read after the cut...

WIFE OF FORMER AKWA IBOM STATE GOVERNOR, ATTAH, DIES

Former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Attah, has lost his wife, Allison. Mrs Attah died in a Lagos hospital around 3:30pm on Monday 29 October, aged 72. She lost a six-year long battle with terminal kidney condition that left her depending on regular dialysis. Mrs. Attah who is originally from Barbados, is survived by her husband and two children. Rest in peace ma.
