Gospel artiste, Lara George, won the Best African Female Gospel Artiste Award at the African Gospel Music award, UK recently in London. Lara defeated great African gospel artistes such as Emmy Kosgei of Kenya, who won the award last year, Ghanaian Gift Osei, UK – based icon, Diana Hamilton, and the celebrated Ntokozo Mbambo of South Africa.

Lagos State Commissioner for Police, Umaru Manko, in an interview with crime alert opened up on Ugochukwu Ozuah's death and the efforts being made by the police to identify the killer and bring him to justice. He also said the language uttered by the killer is a military language and not that of the police. Ozuah who left behind his wife of five days was buried on Wednesday. 

CP: “The little pictures of that incident remains that the DPO in- charge of Anthony Police station reported to me that the chief security officer of that estate informed the station that someone had just been shot and, within a shot period of time,  he led a team of policemen and patrol team of RRS to the scene and they found a young man lying on the ground with a bullet wound. He was still breathing.   As the police  was  trying to ask questions, somebody came out from nowhere and said he is the friend of the young man on the floor and he had gone to call the family of the victim from their house.”

Modinat, mother of two boys and popularly known as Mama Dayo,  was formerly married to a man simply known as Dayo. Both have since separated. MAN DEFILES 8-YEAR-OLD IMBECILE

Ben Ariwelo has been arrested for defiling an 8-year-old imbecile in a public toilet at Otuoke community in Ogbia local government Area, Bayelsa State, last week.  The suspect lured the little girl to a public toilet where the he forcibly had canal knowledge of her. A neighbour noticed the unusual movement around the public convenience and raised an alarm which attracted other natives to the scene. The randy man was caught pants down by the community folks and handed to the police.

The state police commissioner, Mr. Kingsley Omire has confirmed the incident adding that the suspect would be charged to court.

What an evil thing to do. His penis should be cut off.  Pedophile! Mothers pls, always know the whereabouts of your little ones, there are so many of this evil doers out there.

TEARS AS UGOCHUKWU OZUAH IS BURIED

Ugochukwu Ozuah is the 36-year-old engineer who was allegedly killed by policemen five days after his wedding, if you missed it read it HERE  and HERE. He was buried on Wednesday amidst tears and tributes at King’s College, Lagos, as family and friends held a memorial service in his honour. Ozuah was a graduate of King’s College, set of 1993 and was once the Sports prefect of the school.

The killer is yet to be identified by the police. His wife, Joan, said in a written tribute that their five days of marriage were the best days of her life. My heart bleeds for this woman and her family.
