CHARLES NOVIA CRITICIZES TONTO DIKE'S SONGS

Movie producer and record label owner, Charles Novia, expressed his opinion on Tonto Dike's new songs on his facebook page, read below...
Tonto's Terrible Tremolo by Charles Novia.

I have restrained myself for a couple of years from commenting on Tonto Dike's career after my last comments about her role in the soft porn movie she acted in two years back, were badly taken by her and she went on twitter to hurl infantile insults on my person with expletives and uncomplimentary remarks. My reaction to such then was just a dignified silence. After all, I had already spoken on her stunted talent as an up and coming actress and further comments on her incensed tweets were unnecessary.

PROTESTS AS NORTH IRELAND'S FIRST ABORTION CLINIC OPENS

The first ever private abortion clinic in North Ireland opened today and over 200 pro-life campaigners carrying placards saying "Life is precious" and showing photographs of fetuses were gathered outside the privately run Marie Stopes clinic in central Belfast.

The Marie Stopes family planning centre will offer the abortion pill to women who are less than nine weeks pregnant, but only if doctors determine they are at risk of death or long-term health damage from their pregnancy. That is the law in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, where abortion is otherwise illegal and extremely difficult to get an abortion. Between 2006 and 2012, just 262 terminations were carried out in the province, which is home to 1.8 million people.

Police have warned the media to avoid photographing or filming the faces of any clients or staff entering the clinic, which is housed in a nondescript building and to do otherwise would be a breach of British law and the European Convention on Human Rights

Biko, what is their problem?  Only those at risk of death or long-term health damage are allowed to get an abortion. So are they saying mothers should die instead of terminating a life-threatening pregnancy? Isn't that a personal decision and not a communal one?

ALUU4: SUSPECTS CHARGED WITH CONSPIRACY, MURDER

The thirteen suspects arrested in connection with the murder of the four students of the University of Port Harcourt were charged to court yesterday before a Port Harcourt Magistrate on a five- count charge. Also, the Policeman, a Sergeant, Lucky Orji, who was part of the mob that killed the students has been dismissed.

The paramount ruler of Omuokiri-Aluu community,  Alhaja Hassan Walewa , 59, was among the thirteen suspects in court. The others were,  ex-sergeant, Lucky Orji, 43; Lawal Segun, 28; Cynthia Chinwo, 24; George Nwadei, 20; Ekpe Daniel, 30; Okoghiroh Endurance, 24; Gabriel Oche, 33; Ozioma Abajuo, 23; Endurance Edet, 27; Ikechukwu Louis Amadi (aka Kapoon) 32; David Chinasa Ogboda, 30; and Chigozie Evans Samuel, 22.

They were charged alongside others at large for conspiring to murder Ugonna Obuzor, Toku Lloyd, Chiadika Biringa, and Tekenah Elkanah. The charge was read to them but the magistrate did not take their plea

Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Woke, said the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit because of its nature and adjourned the case to December 20 and directed that the case file be handed over to the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice and ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody.

Two months adjournment? That's too long, we must make sure this case doesn't grow cold by not relenting in talking about it till justice is done.

PATIENCE DENIES UNDERGOING COSMETIC SURGERY IN GERMANY

Dame Patience Jonathan came back from Germany yesterday after being abroad for about 7 weeks and immediately denied undergoing cosmetic surgery in Germany. She also denied being an in-patient in a German hospital on account of a terminal disease, adding that her husband loved her physique. She said,

"I read in the media where they said I was in the hospital. God Almighty knows I have never been to that hospital. I don’t even know the hospital they mentioned. I have to explain what God has done for me. I do not have terminal illness, or went for any cosmetic surgery, more or less tummy tuck. My husband loves me as I am and I am pleased with how God created me."

"I cannot add but the same time I will use this opportunity to thank my beloved husband and my children and my staff in general and all Nigerians. The men on the street for standing behind me during my trial time. But God has given me a second chance to come and work with the women of Nigeria, the children and the less privileged. I have come to serve Nigerians"

"God has said it all that when two or three are gathered in His name, He will be with them. Nigerians gathered and prayed for me and God listened and heard their prayers, so I thank God for that."

Two questions;
1. What does she mean by 'my trial time'?
2. Nigerians prayed for her and God answered. Nigerians were praying for her quick recovery so if she was never sick, what prayers were answered?
