BEAUTY QUEEN HAS QUATER OF SKULL REMOVED AND STORED IN HER STOMACH FOR 6 WEEKS
Mother of three and former beauty queen, Jamie Hilton, 36, slipped and hit her head on a rock during a fishing trip in June. At the hospital, doctors found her brain had swollen. Surgeons removed the rear quarter of
Jamie Hilton's skull and placed in her abdomen so that the bone would
remain sterile and nourished as her brain swelling subsided.
When
she woke up from the operation
she found the large, hard lump in her stomach and a portion of her head
missing.The skull remained in her abdomen for 42 days until it was re-attached in a successful operation and now, three months after her near death experience the 36-year-old has returned home. On her blog site where her recovery was detailed, Jamie wrote;
'NOTHING in this world really
matters to me today other than I AM HERE. I am on this GLORIOUS earth
with my unbelievable family.'I
can snuggle my kids, kiss my husband, hang out with my mom, and LIVE.
My heart feels like it could explode with GRATITUDE. My cup is running
over with joy and happiness. Is everything in my life perfect? No. But
today I AM ALIVE
Amazing! See pic of her after the surgery after the cut...
SAUDI ARABIA IGNORES FG, DEPORTS OVER 500 MORE NIGERIANS
Saudi Arabia yesterday ignored protests by the Nigerian government over the deportation of female pilgrims as the Saudi authorities deported another batch of 510 Nigerian female pilgrims to this year’s hajj, still insisting that the women were unaccompanied by men which they say is against the rules of their kingdom. However, there is report that on board of the plane bringing the women is also a male pilgrim. He decided to return home with his wife when his explanations and entreaties to the fact that his wife was accompanied fell on deaf ears. That shows clearly that there is more to the issue than meets the eyes. The Federal Government gave them a 24 hour ultimatum on Wednesday to redress the situation. 171 pilgrims were earlier deported on Wednesday.
Spokesman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Mallam Uba Mana,
said that the commission hoped that the Federal Government at the Presidency level
would soon settle the matter which is already threatening the diplomatic
relationship between the two countries. There are indications that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, is leading a delegation to Saudi Arabia on Friday (today) “to have a
first-hand assessment of the situation and speed up the negotiation.”

The 35-year-old
former policeman was found guilty of the murder charge preferred against him.
Nwabueze, who was arraigned on June 15, 2010 by the Lagos State
Directorate of Public Prosecutions, had pleaded not guilty to the
charge.
TIMAYA DENIES RECONCILING WITH EX, EMPRESS NJAMAH
There were rumors that Timaya and his former flame, actress Empress Njamah had made up after they were seen whispering to each other and laughing together an Tuface Idibia's 37th birthday party held recently in Lagos.
The afro-pop singer has denied the rumors. The former lovers went through a
very public fight which led to separation in 2009. When contacted, Timaya said, “It is true that Empress and I met at
Tuface’s party and greeted each other as old friends, nothing more. This
whole speculation about reconciliation is spurious and baseless. I am
happy with my partner, daughter and career and I am sure she is with her
new life too.”
He said in an interview in May, 2012, that as much as he loves and
cherishes his baby and the mother, Barbara, he is not thinking of getting married to her
or any other woman yet.
