FORMER CBN GOVERNOR, OLA VINCENT, DIES

Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Ola Vincent, is dead. He died today at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos after a period of hospitalization. He served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria between 1977 and 1982.
RIP sir.

HEAVIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD LOSES WEIGHT THROUGH MARATHON SEX`


The heaviest woman in the world, Pauline Potter, loses weight by having marathon sex.
“I sweat off loads of calories,” 600-pound Pauline Potter revealed in an interview with UK magazine this month. “I call it ‘sexercise.’”
Potter, 47, became the Guinness World Record holder for heaviest woman last year when she weighed in at 700 pounds, but she’s managed to lose nearly 100 pounds in the last year by rekindling her romance with her ex-husband Alex. Married for three years, they split in 2008 but reunited when he heard about her Guinness title last year. It didn’t take long for them to land in bed together - repeatedly.

BEYONCE SNOBS KIM K AT JAY-Z/KANYE WEST CONCERT

Beyonce reportedly snobbed Kim Kardashian at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, Saturday night where both Beyonce and Kardashian were supporting their musical men, Jay Z and Kanye West. Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other. They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn’t even acknowledge Kardashian was there until the concert was almost over.

I thought they were getting close, whatever happened. 

OMG!!! 5,000 KILLED IN SYRIA IN AUGUST ALONE



Activist groups said Sunday that about 5,000 people were killed in Syria's civil war in August, the highest figure ever reported in more than 17 months of fighting as President Bashar Assad's regime unleashed crushing air power against the revolt for the first time.

An up coming and promising young yoruba actress, Seun Ogunlade, has died. The actress died in the early hours of today after a brief illness.

NBC BANS WANDE COAL'S "GET LOW" VIDEO

National Broadcasting Commission has banned Wande Coal's new video, "Get Low" for showing too much nudity. This is coming days after the video was criticized by Nigerian gospel artiste, KSB for the same reason. The ban is limited to local TV stations only.

FG: 45- DAY WAIT FOR CANADIAN VISA IS UNACCEPTABLE

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Olugbenga Ashiru
The Fedeal Government of Nigeria has protested against the delay in the issuance of Canadian visa which takes a minimum of 45 working days to process.
Foreign Affairs Minister Olugbenga Ashiru, in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, described the delay as “unacceptable’’, and called for a review of the long wait period.

Ashiru also suggested the use of photocopied passport data page and to sight the passports rather than holding applicant’s passport during the waiting period. Thereafter, the passports can be surrendered to the Mission only at the point of the issuance of visas, allowing the passport holders the opportunity to use their passports for other travels, pending the approval of their visa applications by the Canadian Mission.

Who dem be sef, U.S and U.K visas take 3-5 days except visa applications that require additional administrative processing. (Hiss).

PATIENCE JONATHAN HOSPITALIZED?


There were speculations on Sunday night that the first lady, Patience Jonathan, might be undergoing treatment in Germany for food poisoning. Patience was airlifted to a hospital in Wisbaden, Germany by an air ambulance last week under emergency medical conditions. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the President's camp.
