MAN SHOT DEAD BY POLICE FEW DAYS AFTER HIS WEDDING

Ugochuku Ozuah, a newly wedded business man was allegedly shot by men of the Nigerian Police Force in front of the UPS office on the Gbagada Express way on Thursday September 20th. He was standing at the expressway with a friend trying to get a taxi around 9pm when policemen pulled up and shot him twice in the chest at close range. He died Saturday morning at a hospital in Lagos exactly a week after his wedding. Ugo got married last Saturday September 15th, 2012.

This is a sensless killing just like many being carried out by the Nigerian police almost on a daily basis. Dear God pls give the wife the fortitude to bear this unnecessary loss.
